A windy transmission

Today I was reading the NYT and I ran across this article. Within our discussion, one issue has never been considered, that is the problem of grid's limits. The power lines are indeed so limited that also the a minimal increase in the power line, which is that coming from windy power plants, cannot be sustained. How dumb is that ?

Amazing, that you'll tell me how you can get so well informed and connected with the rest of the world... I am amazed!!!

The article is very nice indeed, right as well...

Moreover I do remember something that is just being investigated, I read in a scientific article back 2 years ago. Windmills cannot be place randomly, since the turbolence generated by one mill might influence the others. So it is necessary to test numerically and in a scaled wind tunnel the possbible mills configuration.

That piece of science must be totally freaky... :-)

I have 5 heads and 25 hands, i am quite of a freak to be honest...
Actually it is quite easy. First thing in the morning, in the bathroom, i read the newspapers on internet ( I have wireless, in case you are wondering). When i don't go out, or play soccer, instead of numbing myself with the TV i read news.
Plus, I make up stories, that always works, and i am very good at saying BS, that is talent, I admit that..

Let's just say that it just pisses me off when people on TV tries to make a fool of myself, more than I should. If Berlusconi is there for the 4th time, it means that somebody has not done a good job in informing people. So, I am trying to inform and get myself informed, before anything. Comments and discussions help forming my opinion.

5 heads and 25 hands... like a hell animal...

right right... you are from Los Alamos... you are from the hell.

Yeah, actually I do agree, journalists are manuvered by politicians, expecially in IT, so it makes totally sense you need to dig in order to get the truth out.

Actually personal comment, I normally read (or have a look) to repubblica.it. I might say it is totally rubbish. The quality of the articles is almost shit. I mean, not that BBC or The Sun offer normally high standard debates... however republicca.it is in my personal opionion much lower standard.

I am thinking that Italian people are only focused on fascion and how to get a bigger car, but no idea about 'the rest'! The online newpaper is just being a mirror of a decaying society.

Yep, Repubblica is getting worse and worse..there is no independent view on anything. To me, La Stampa is getting better and on TV, the only daily news i can somewhat trust is the one on La7.
So resources online are the only way to get something out of the mire..
